Application

Where / How FLOMIN™ AL is typically used

FLOMIN™ AL products are typically applied across the main stages of the Bayer process, from bauxite handling systems to refining circuits. Depending on site configuration and operating constraints, solutions can be introduced in bauxite conveying and transfer zones to stabilize wet material flow, in precipitation and tertiary thickening to improve hydrate fines recovery and settling, and in spent liquor circuits upstream of heat exchangers to control DSP scale and protect heat transfer performance. The range is also used in washer circuits operating under high supersaturation to prevent hydrate deposits and sustain recovery, and in clarification stages to remove dissolved organics that can destabilize precipitation and increase caustic consumption.

All FLOMIN™ AL products are designed for low-ppm dosing and continuous injection using standard dosing systems, enabling easy implementation without mechanical modifications.
