FLOMIN™ SAP is used across mining operations where moisture-induced stickiness compromises handling, dry processing, or safety. It supports ore handling operations such as loading, unloading, stacking, blending, and reclaiming, where ore stickiness cause operational disruptions.
In dry processing circuits, FLOMIN™ SAP stabilizes crushing, screening, and dry separation steps, including magnetic separation, by preventing clogging under rainy conditions. It is also applied as a liquefaction risk mitigation solution for bulk cargo transportation, increasing transportable moisture limit improving material stability during transport and stockpiling.
By attracting and immobilizing water within the FLOMIN SAP grains, it prevents moisture from binding mineral fines together during freezing conditions, limiting bulk solidification and preserving good ore flowability. This mechanism enables safer operations, sustained throughput, and reduced reliance on water- or energy-intensive alternatives.
